I have been waiting with bated breaths for the opening of the new the Blend Bistro. I must say maybe I waited with too much anticipation. As many of my readers know I am often positive and filled with praise, I'm trying here but I can't. (Note this is there first day open) Let's start with the ambiance which is wonderful. Beautiful aderandack (sp) style chairs with robust cream cover awnings for outside dining by the water features gives way to an expansive modern chic motif on the interior. The dominate black and white pallet and understated but sharp. The chandlers inside are tremendous works of art that I thoroughly enjoyed. The build out is by far the best part of this restaurant. The first item I ordered was a drink from there Seasonal Fresh Squeezed Juice and Smoothie menu. The first item I ordered, the fresh pressed Pure Joy was not available as Watermelon wa not on season. I asked my highly attentive server for a recommendation. She brought me the Temptation which was a delightful mix of Acai, cranberries, banana, maca and coconut water. I loved this mix and would/ will be back for this. Next came the 5 Onion Soup. The presentation was wonderful. Great color that gave way to an overly greasy broth with fat at the top and absolutely no flavor. It tasted as of there was no salt in the dish what so ever. My meal was the Grass Fed Steak Salad. Again as per my picture great presentation but lacking everywhere else. The overwhelming taste is arugula - arugula stems and nothing else. The white beans offset the sundried tomatoes and flatbread croutons are tasteless. This means that the thick roasted garlic vinaigrette needs to foot the bill and alas it doesn't. Also my steak came out basically raw to rare (I love that, most don't) and had no seasoning at all. All in all not the best start but one I'm hoping with some recipe refinement can work. Until my next new launch, dine fine.

Ordered flat bread - was not disappointed. Wife ordered a salad and thrice remarked how much better her salad was compared to other restaurants. The location is perfect, the owners and staff are great, and I encourage anyone to visit. Tell them Nic sent you and they won't know what you are talking about, but it will make me feel good and a butterfly will take flight somewhere out there.

What a great hidden treasure. Very healthy and delicious menu all organic wines. I definitely give them a 5in my book.

I had the Roasted Poblano Pepper. It was a well-balanced and healthy meal. I am already thinking of the next time I'll order this dish. It was artistically presented, which made my mouth water. For dessert, I shared a key lime pie. It was outstanding. The flavor makes me think of a fresh lime tree on the coast. I find the service very good and the bistro is beautifully decorated. It is a nice place to go in and sit down and cool off for a while.

Great Spot with Healthy Menu Choices, and a great wine list. Had the Roasted Poblano Chili, and the misses had the Steak Salad. Finished it off with one the best Key Lime Pies I have ever had. Also they have a simple but great wine list as well!

I'm not one to be into healthy eating, but this place is amazing! Had the Bistro Club sandwich with Avocado and it was delicious! Also, try to the Fire Roasted Poblano Chile, to die for! Great Service, Friendly Staff...Will be back!

If you want to eat veggie, this is the best place I've ever been. They have a nice assortment of juices and dishes. I had the roasted red pepper hummus and a veggie panini. The ingredients in both were extremely fresh and the care that went into making the food was obvious. The flavor of the panini was great but it was difficult to handle without things falling out. Lots of cheese too. Service was quick and friendly.

Not impressed. The Bistro is called "The Blend". I ordered a $9.50 juice that was poured from a large decanter...not made fresh in a blender. The server put something over the top of the decanter to shake it up manually. If memory serves the juice was lime, carrot, beat, and apple. I tasted lime, water, and ?. I took 3 sips and threw it in the garbage insulted that this restaurant touts their juices as fresh but when I asked the server when the juice was made, he said at 11:00am. I ordered it at 3:45pm, which everyone knows that real juice needs to be consumed early before the oxygen takes away any benefits it could provide. I am an avid juice fan and I do not mind paying for a fresh juice. I could have visited Publix for this sugary mess. Don't waste your time if you're trying to eat healthy.

We were the second party in the restaurant and waited over 10 mintutes to order our food. We got 2 club sandwiches. While we are waiting, three other parties walked in. We waited 20 minutes and wayched other people get there food. The three parties got their foods before us. We waited 30 minutes for our meal and the waitress came up to us once in the 30 minute span. The sandwiches both came out differently. After 30 minutes our food comes out and we are frustrated with the service and the wait. There was one waitress serving everyone while the other waitress watched and sat in the corner. We never got a refill on our waters. The music was overly loud we could not hear each other sitting right next to one another. Service- poor Food- poor I will never be going back to this place ever again.

Awesome layout, great service, irresistible food. Fresh, thought-out entrees with generous portions for a reasonable price. Stuffed poblano, meatballs, and all desserts were phenomenal. Will be back for more. 5/5 Stars!

Really slow service Very small portions for the price. I ordered a stuffed chili and it was $16. I literally got one small pepper stuffed with a few things that took my all of 5 bites to finish. The servers had not tried anything on the menu and couldn't even make a recommendation, very sad representation of a restaurant when employees don't even know what things are on the menu.

The food was amazing!!!! Went with two girlfriends and we all loved everything we ordered. We were the only ones there for quite some time, however, they refused to honor the happy drink special at a table and said it had to be at the bar, especially since the owner was about to come in. We all thought they could have been a little more lenient about at that considering no one else was there and they are brand new. Otherwise a great experience and a super friendly server.

We stopped by here after doing some shopping. We weren't 100% sure if we wanted to eat here, but the owner assured us we would love it and invited us in. Ambiance: very nice clean decor and soft jazz playing. Nice for a rainy afternoon. Service: the owner was very nice and recommended we try the provolone meat balls. Our waitress was a sweetheart and answered all of our questions. Food: Provolone Stuffed Meatballs - they were pretty good. I wasn't expecting the meatballs to have peppers in them as it's not stated on the menu. Unfortunately, my boyfriend could not try them as he does not like anything remotely spicy. Blend Bistro Club - my boyfriend got this. Nothing too special. I personally would not order it again. Overall, I would probably give them a 3.5 but the service is worth giving them a 4.

I had the stuffed Poblano pepper (stuffed with quinoa and the most flavorful combination of foods and spices). It was amazing. Only the stem was left :). The Blend also seems to have a lot of Gluten-Free and vegetarian food without being too promotional about it. I also had a juice (called The Best Day Ever - I'm not exactly sure what was in it, it was citrusy and tangy and just right on. The actual restaurant is super comfortable and cool inside. The atmosphere is perfect for appetite, sophisticated and clean lines.

My wife and I just finished dinner here. My wife had the minestrone soup and I had the chicken and goat cheese sandwich. Both were excellent and everything was really fresh and very flavorful. The prices are a bit steep, but the rating remains 5 stars, because the ingredients are all natural, free range meats, etc. (e.g., you get what you pay for) I highly recommend it.

Very nice atmosphere and great customer service, but the food was too basic for my taste. Great if you are just into veggies.

Had lunch with two friends. Were the first customers in. Was a bit put-off as there were only two booths and both had "reserved" on them. We asked, then sat down, guess '3' is the magic # to sit in booths. Our waiter was very enthusiastic,(and not to take anything away from him) continually informed us how good the food is (this is before ordering). Food: Organic juice was tasty, Soup was chewy (green beans were raw) a bit spicy and had floating garlic and whole green leaves in it. Ordered what was identified as 'flatbread' and received soggy crackers with mushrooms, goat cheese & balsamic vinegar on it. My friends had a sirloin steak salad and apricot honey roast chicken dinner, both enjoyed their dishes (maybe I just ordered the wrong things). Desert was fresh peach tart w/ice cream. Only one ice tea with two waters was ordered. I detail the menu because when we received the check our lunch came to over $75.00 without tip. As it was my treat I paid. Don't get me wrong I don't mind paying for a good meal. However, my husband and I can go to a white tablecloth restaurant, have drinks, two entrees and coffee for just over $100.00 and not get hounded by the waiter. I feel this is a specialty restaurant and wonder how long it will last. Oh, one more thing. Apparently, they do not have a separate entrance for deliveries. Consequently, we were exposed to 15-25 boxes of food being delivered in the restaurant area as we sat and ate.

My ridiculously picky 12 year old twin boys LOVED their green smoothies. ( I regret not knowing which one it was! )

I decided to meet a friend at The Blend Bistro based on the advertising. It was a mistake. We both had salads. Her's was a citrus shrimp and mine was sirloin salad. I asked for the steak to be medium rare. The server commented that is exactly the way he liked it too. When it arrived he placed it in front of me and stated "Medium". And it was definitely medium plus. Did not want to send it back so dug in as the presentation was very good. Unfortunately, neither salad had any taste. We pushed our plates away. Waiter asked if we wanted a box and when we said no he asked if we wanted the plates taken away. We said yes. Plates were never taken away. No one asked how the meal was or if there was problem. We finally asked for a bill as the waiter did not seem to understand that our plates pushed away and empty glasses meant anything. Getting the bill paid seemed very difficult for this young man. Took a good ten minutes from the point of offering payment to actually getting a receipt to sign. Their definitely was a manager on site but not engaged. There are a lot of much better restaurants. We will not be back.

Excellent food and great service. We are from Northern California where good, creative food is abundant. We came on Christmas day and found a friendly crew eager to recommend their favorites and suggest alternatives. The food was delicious, served pretty quickly and nicely presented. We started with an excellent smoothie that was an original recipe, had a delicious yellow lentil soup and a poblano chile, and finished with a dark chocolate fudge tort. Each new dish was equally creative, full bodied & rich in flavor, and made of quality ingredients. Absolutely incredible palate! Don't skip over this new bistro! We'd come back for sure!

Great food and a nice ambiance, they just opened so there are a few kinks to work out, but the food was delicious and the service prompt. Recommend the pablano pepper highly!

Husband and I there on opening day and 3 other times same week. (We were staying in a near-by hotel.) More positive expereince than the first reviewer. This bistro serves all organic food and drink inckuding the wines. Also, this is not vegetarian only. Husband had the grilled steak, which he said was perfect. Over the multiple visits we had 2 different types of flatbread small plate-mine was with mushrooms and goat's cheese, his with tomatoes and cheese. Both outstanding. Had one of the green juices which was superb. We also had the eggplant, salmon and chicken entress. All superb. We also had the wonderful yellow lentil soup. Also offered are sandwiches and salads. The organic wines were incredibly smmoth and perfedt (I had a white and he had a red.). Even the coffees were good. Husb. had excellent capuccino and I had decaf coffee-best I've ever had. Service was outstanding each time. Highly recommned this creative, heathy and delicious addition to Downtown at the Gardens. When in town, we have been regulars at Cafe Chardonnay, and Paris in Town. So we do appreciate fine food. Blend Bistro has joined the party. :)

The service here is so bad that it makes this place memorable. We went before going to a movie and asked our server if they could get us the food before the we needed to go to the movie and he said yes. We ordered and he didn't take our menus. It took him 15 minutes to bring us our drinks. Then 25 minutes later one sandwich arrived with no explanation of where the appetizer was or the other two meals. I finally got so aggravated I went inside to ask for an explanation and was told our food would be right out. Ten minutes later I was about to cancel our order because the table next to us (they sat down 20 minutes after us) had their appetizers and dinners but as I went to cancel the order one sandwich and the appetizer arrived. Then I was told they had burned my dinner and would remake it. We were given a bunch of lies/excuses about why our food took so long. I don't know what was going on in the kitchen but these people are in the wrong business. I never got my dinner and we were so frustrated when we left that it ruined the rest of our night.

Originally we were meeting at the Yard House fin Downtown at the Gardens for dinner with another couple, but there was a forty minute wait for a table. So we decided to try something new and we were very pleased that we did. The Blend is a small bistro with a open airy feel. We were greeted with a friendly smile and were seated quickly. We ordered the following; Yellow Lentil Soup with Spiced Yogurt for starters, very good; Ginger Miso Wild Salmon prepared in a ginger cashew butter and garlic-soy dipping sauce, the Salmon was fabulous and the Mediterranean Style Salad which was highlighted with goat cheese, white beans, and chopped tomatoes. Very good also. The staff is very attentive and very accommodating. We will be back.

Excellent food and service. We went for a small bite and glass of wine before a movie. It was perfect. We had the brie and wine. The brie was served with some greens that were accompanied by dressing so delicious that I ordered a salad. As I said, the food and service were excellent.

All I can say it is about time. Thank you Blend Bistro for coming to Palm Beach County. I am a picky eater to begin with but you happen to have the right mix of vegan, vegetarian and free range meat dishes that was delicious and a healthy combination. I was greeted by our waitress Liz with a smile who made it a point to explain what was on the menu and answer any of our questions. The atmosphere was relaxed with nice music in the background and candles on each table. I felt like I was somewhere in Europe on a vacation. What hit the spot for me was the plabano chilli and the free range meatballs with a sauce that was to die for. It was followed by a nice glass of wine and a gluten free chocolate cake. I appreciated the fact that the manager came to the table wanting to know how they can improve to make our dining experience more enjoyable. All I can say is, you can't get better food and the price points are very reasonable . I will be back and will look forward to sharing my experience with other family and friends in the near future. Worsted service I have ever seen ! Walked in don't know whether we seat ourselves or are to be seated so after standing there at the counter for 10 mins waiting for some one to great us and instruct us on how to get food i Instead got tired of waiting and said do we seat ourselves or what ? She replies yea anywhere you want so we go to sit in a booth and she then say no don't sit there i8s better if you sit here and put us in the corner of the place with high top seats which we did not want but I'm a patient guy so I said what ever I'll sit there . She hands us menus and never comes back after waiting another 20 mins I tell my girlfriend maybe we order up front. So she walks up and waits in line finally getting to the front and asks the same lady if we order at the register or at the table because we have been waiting for so long then she replies hold on and disappeared into the night like batman never to be seen again so I got tired of waiting so we left . . . .DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE
